You can take a train or visit to Castle Rock Station. From there, you can take a jeep safari or hike through the forest to reach the waterfall. The hike is approx 11 kilometers and it takes around 2 to 3 hours. However, the trek is worth the efforts, you can get the best of scenic views of the waterfall and the surrounding forest.
Visitors can take a refreshing dip in the waterfall, but while taking the dip it is very important to be cautious because the water can be deep and the currents can be strong. It is advisable to wear confortable cloth and footwear to avoid any mishap.
 There are other attractions are there near the waterfall area that are worth exploring. i.e. the Tambdi Surla Temple, which is one of the oldest temples in Goa, is situated in the midst of the forest. This temple is dedicated to Lord Shiva and is renowned for its carvings and architecture. Another popular attraction around Dudh Sagar is the Bhagwan Mahaveer Wildlife Sanctuary and Mollem National Park. This sanctuary is home to a wide range of flora and fauna, that includes tiger, leopard, elephant and deer. Visitors can take a jeep safari through the forest to spot these animals and appreciate the breathtaking beauty of the park.
